• May Half Term

  Just a reminder that school closes on Friday 25th May for the half term break - and re-opens on TUESDAY 5th June.

• Spring coffee afternoon

  Many thanks to the Friends of the school for organising such a wonderful afternoon last Friday. Thanks also go to all parents and carers, brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles and grandparents who came to support the event and enjoy our wonderful children sing and perform.

• Enterprise Project

  Team Cheveley are working hard to produce art for our exhibition next week. Art work will be on sale in the hall on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th February. Alongside this, in order to raise money for our school charity, St Cuthbert's Hospice, each class has been given a challenge to bake cakes to sell at the exhibition. They've been given a budget and have to stick to it! Who will make the most profit for the charity? Please come along for some cake and support the work the team here at school are doing.

• No Crossing Patrol - Still

  After being out to advert several times - the County Council have still been unable to appoint a replacement for Mr Sim! If you know of anyone at all who may be interested - please point them to the Jobs North East jobs portal.

• New Headteacher!

  Mrs Goodwin is going to be our new headteacher from January 2018! She is attending lots of school events over the festive period so hopefully, you may get to meet her before January!

• No School Crossing Patrol!

  Sadly, there will be no school crossing patrol on Broomside Lane until a replacement is recruited. Please ensure children arrive to school safely during this time.. it is a VERY busy road!

• The Hut Is Coming!
